I bring together my extensive third sector leadership experience with coaching and psychotherapy training, to provide a unique support system within Resilient Leader.
My career has spanned four decades working in third sector arts leadership roles including as Chief Executive of Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Federation of Scottish Theatre and The Theatres Trust. During this time I developed a passion for supporting others in their leadership roles, first through establishing a professional leadership mentoring programme and latterly by undertaking formal psychotherapy training. I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapist (CBT/REBT), accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society and alongside Resilient Leader I run a 1-1 therapy practice - Jon Morgan Therapy.
I believe that by bringing leadership coaching and deeper psychotherapy together we can effectively address the emotional resilience challenges that many of us face as leaders. Just as professional athletes stand the best chance of thriving with the support of sports psychologists, so can we, as leaders, thrive with tailored coaching and psychological support.
It’s a safe, confidential space where you’re in control
Nothing is off limits in terms of what you can bring to our work, but nothing is demanded either. You decide what is relevant and helpful for you to discuss about your life experience and how it affects your work. Whatever you choose to bring will be explored with understanding and without judgement.
We work collaboratively on a bespoke structured programme
We’ll identify your priority challenges and explore the underlying issues. We’ll then develop targeted strategies to address these including exercises in session and activities between sessions.
You’ll leave with the skills to be your own resilience coach
Emotional resilience is not a state of being it’s a practice. Having developed the skills to address the issues you face, we will explore how you can continue to strengthen your resilience practice to help you face future challenges.

Resilient Leader Services
Initial Information Call

I offer a free call to give us the opportunity to explore working together. You are welcome to ask me any questions about my experience, how I work and what to expect. It is also useful for you to give me a brief outline of what you are hoping for from our sessions.
Resilient Leader Programme
£120 per 1 hour session
Regular ongoing sessions give us the opportunity to explore the challenges you are facing, your emotional patterns and develop a programme of active work together to address these to help you thrive at work and in your life more broadly.
I recommend weekly or fortnightly sessions for at least the first six sessions of our work together to gain momentum. After this, a continuing pattern can be negotiated for as long as is helpful.
Organisation Support Packages
